National Agricultural technology project

Exposure Visit

Exposure Visit is an effective way of learning and disseminating technologies from one area to others area. It involves taking a group of farmers, staff, officers or other stakeholders from their village or area to other area. Exposure Visit exposes farmers to develop and adopt new technologies which are being practiced by farmers of another area or are being developed at research stations or activities being implemented by other organizations. During the year 2010-11, 20 exposure visits were organized at the upazila level. In each exposure visit, about 40 CIG farmers, CEALs, staff and officers were the participants. The participated farmers expressed high satisfaction on visiting new or improved management practices observed in other areas or locations. The progress of arrangement of exposure visits is given in the Table-08.
